Dead Tree Removal from the church parking lot
Each year we like to honor those who have served in the military on Veteran’s Day. We salute you and thank you for your service. (Quilt photo taken last year at a celebratory lunch)
Celebrating Pat’s 100th Birthday!
You’re home alone and in a stew.
Things fall apart, but what to do?
Your shower drips. Your toilet, too.
The plumber comes and has no clue
Except to send you quite a bill.
They still are dripping, dripping still.
The door that holds your stuff is stuck.
The key’s I pieces. What bad luck!
Your checkbook’s hostage, locked inside.
Can’t pay your bills. Nowhere to hide.
But who will help? Whoever can?
Well just call Jeff, the fix-it-man!
Of course he’ll come, and in a jiffy.
He’ll fix it right and it’s not iffy.
And even though it takes awhile
He’ll have it finished with that smile.
No wonder he’s the one we savor.
He thinks you’re doing him a favor!
These rocks were painted by our Kids United Sunday School students and have been gifted to church and community members.
Like so many activities these days, SSP has gone virtual due to Covid-19. Our youth team met in the church parking lot to pick up supplies and to receive a send-off from Pastor Mark prior to our CARE-A-VAN this past Sunday.
The Week at SSP was spent learning how to make positive impact on your community. They learned how to stay “Grounded” and grow in kindness and love.
